Why a Print Skirt is a Great Investment

Whenever my work style becomes boring and un-inspired, I start looking for new pencil skirts to buy. A print pencil is my go to item to wear to work. It’s easy to style with sweaters, button-downs, t-shirts, and blazers. I typically style it with black or gray, but it works with many other colors depending on what colors are on the print. The print and color make the look trendy and fun, so that you can keep the rest of the outfit simple like all black or all gray. I own two print pencil skirts, but I always keep looking for more since it's one of the easiest items to style for a fun, professional look.

This first pencil skirt I purchased years ago and have styled it with purple, gray, and black tops. I often wear it with a gray sweater and black boots in the winter.

My second print skirt was inspired by an outfit worn by Carine Roitfeld. When I saw the green print skirt at Zara I had to buy it since the colors were so similar to the skirt by Carine. I have worn this skirt with black and gray as shown below, but also with green and white tops.
