Fall 2015 Trends to Follow
There were many different trends on the runways for Fall 2015, but we at Practically Fashion only look at trends that are practical for the work environment as well as timeless. Some trends are clearly only meant for the runway and fashion couture. They are great to look at, but not for incorporating into daily outfits. Trends come and go, but discovering your true style and finding what works for your figure and lifestyle is key to an effortless wardrobe. The trends below are just that, outfits and suggestions you can take to your office and can keep wearing for years to come.
CHERRY RED PLAID
Generally, plaid is a fall print, but this fall, it's cherry red plaid that is having a major moment. It's easy to incorporate it through a shirt or scarf if you don't want to spend too much on this trend or if you want a bit more of this trend, I love the look of a great red plaid skirt.
I love flared pants because they can make you look so much taller. Wear them with high heels or platforms covering up most of your shoes and you'll look inches taller. For added leg lengthening effect, get a high waisted flared pant.
If you don't have a couple of classic turtlenecks, it's always a good idea to get some as they come back in style frequently. I like the short sleeve black turtleneck for showing off toned arms. Classic turtlenecks are a worthwhile investment piece especially in a versatile color like ivory or black.
Chunky knits are still around for Fall and they are great for keeping you warm in the fall and winter. I would love to find a great dress with a larger knit like in the last picture above. It can be worn as a dress or long cardigan.
Shearling jackets are great for casual style and colder temperatures. They also seem to come in style every few years, so if you get one now, don't get rid of it.
